How quickly will I receive my certificate, and is it nationally accredited?
Your digital Statement of Attainment is issued electronically on the very same day—typically within 2 to 4 hours of passing your practical workshop and verifying your USI. All training is delivered in proud partnership with Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909). Your certificate is nationally recognised across Australia and complies fully with Safe Work Australia, ACECQA (for childcare), and state regulatory requirements.

Once you book, you receive an instant email with login details for your interactive online pre-learning module. Designed to be friendly, modern, and engaging, it features short videos and multiple-choice questions you can complete on your phone, tablet, or laptop. Most students finish in 45–90 minutes. Completing theory online means our class time in Mount Beauty or Bright is relaxed, enjoyable, and 100% focused on hands-on practical skills.
✓ Average e-learning completion time: 45–60 minutes. Compatible with all smartphones and browsers.
What should I wear and bring on the day of training?
Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting casual clothing (such as pants or activewear) and flat, enclosed footwear (running shoes or work boots). Because CPR assessments require practicing compressions and recovery positions on the floor, skirt or dress attire is not recommended. Please bring a photo ID and a water bottle. We provide all training manuals, sanitized manikins, face shields, and sanitizing equipment.
What is a USI (Unique Student Identifier), and do I need one before booking?
A USI is an Australian Government reference number allocated to students undertaking nationally accredited training. You do not need one to reserve your seat today, but Commonwealth legislation requires us to verify your USI before generating your certificate. If you do not have one or cannot recall your number, you can find or create it in under 3 minutes at www.usi.gov.au using your driver’s licence or Medicare card.
What if I have bad knees, a recent injury, or difficulty kneeling on the floor?
We pride ourselves on being an approachable, community-centred training provider. The national training package requires candidates to perform at least 2 minutes of continuous uninterrupted CPR on an adult manikin placed on the floor to be deemed competent. However, we provide plush knee support cushions, padded mats, and plenty of pacing and encouragement. If you have mobility concerns, please let Gavin know ahead of time so we can support you.
Can you deliver training on-site at our workplace or community club in the Alpine Shire?
Yes! We regularly travel to businesses, wineries, breweries, schools, construction sites, and outdoor recreation teams across Mount Beauty, Bright, Myrtleford, Tawonga, Porepunkah, Harrietville, and Falls Creek. On-site training saves your staff travel time and allows us to customize scenarios for your specific hazard risks. Group bookings also receive attractive volume discounts.
Where are public courses conducted and is there free parking available?
Public sessions are held in well-equipped community halls including the Mount Beauty Community Centre and Bright Community Pavilion. Both locations feature free, easy-access parking, heating/cooling, and accessible facilities. Exact venue details and arrival directions are clearly outlined in your booking confirmation.
